Fort Belvoir FES (E463, T463, BC465) and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a Townhouse fire Sunday, January 9, 2011, at approximately 3:09 p.m. in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. The residence is located at 5402 Claymont Drive.

Firefighters saw smoke and fire coming from the residence upon arrival. 

Red Cross is assisting the family. There were no injuries.

According to fire investigators, the fire was accidental.
