Fort Belvoir FES (E466, T463, BC463) and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a commercial fire July 8, 2010, at approximately 2:16 p.m. in the Lorton area of Fairfax County located at 7738 Gunston Plaza.

Firefighters encountered found a small fire in the vent over cooking area, units checked for extinction. The exhaust system was shut down with no other damage to building upon arrival. Firefighters brought the fire under control in approximately 5 minutes. Damage estimate is not available.  According to fire investigators, the fire was accidental.
