Fort Belvoir Fire/Rescue crews completed in-house  "May Day - Firefighter Down" Training during the month of May. Crews set up scenario's and training props in the FD Warehouse, presenting challenging obstacles that trapped, entangled and disoriented firefighters. Firefighters performed self-rescue maneuvers and went through basic May-Day procedures of transmitting for help, utilizing their "Emergency Activation" buttons on their radios.
