It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Inspector Brian P. Waynant, Sr. of IAFF Local 1590 - Wilmington, Delaware. Brother Waynant, 45, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010. He was struck by a train while on duty.
The viewing will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North Dupont Highway, New Castle, Delaware 19720, (302) 328-2213. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John the Beloved Church, 907 Miltown Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19808. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware 19808. A reception will follow internment at the Delaware City Fire Company, 815 Fifth Street, Delaware City, Delaware 19706.
